About us
Stranden Hostel in Mora is a centrally located and cozy hostel in the heart of Mora. The town center, with its restaurants, shops, and attractions, is only about 600 meters away.
The hostel offers seven rooms in varying sizes, from double rooms to four-bed rooms, making it suitable for individual travelers, families, and small groups. You will be greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and there is plenty of space for self-catering in our three fully equipped kitchens.
Parking is available for several cars right outside the entrance. If you are traveling by train, we recommend getting off at Mora Strand, which is just a short walk from the hostel. Vasaloppet’s finish line is approximately 900 meters away.
The hostel is located in a quiet and secluded area, while still being within easy walking distance of several popular Mora attractions, such as the Zorn Museum (800 m), Tingsnäs Bath (1.3 km), and the Hemus outdoor area (1.8 km). Hemus offers year-round activities – cross-country skiing in the Vasaloppet tracks during winter, and walking, running, mountain biking, and frisbee golf in the summer.
The hostel is unstaffed, and check-in is conveniently done digitally.
